Overview
VRCDB is designed to be privacy-friendly. We do not use tracking or marketing cookies. Core usage works without account registration, email, or personal profile data.
Cookies
- VRCDB does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, analytics, or login sessions.
- Favorites and UI preferences are stored in browser local storage, not cookies.
Maximum data that can be processed
- Search input: avatar/world search terms and selected filters.
- Technical request data: IP address and user-agent for anti-abuse and rate limiting.
- Favorites keys: private/public keys (only if you use favorites).
- Favorites data: saved avatar/world tokens and shared list entries you create.
- Local browser storage: favorites key, world favorites key, and sidebar open/closed preference.
- Optional snapshot metadata when adding favorites: avatar name, author name, description, platform info, and private flag.
What we do not collect
- No real-name profile fields required.
- No password account system.
- No tracking pixels or behavioral ad profiles.
If you no longer want stored local data, you can log out in favorites pages or clear browser site data.
